Welcome to Tuluksak

Tuluksak Native Community began the new millennium by contracting with Northern Management to provide comprehensive management services. Working in conjunction with CE2 Engineers, Alaska Accounting Solutions, Council President Joseph Alexie, and the local staff, we achieved the following:

	Securing $1 Million for construction of the Tuluksak Teen Center
	Completely restructured & reconstructed the Tribes finances & stabilized cash flow
	Negotiated with the Internal Revenue Service to resolve past back-taxes
	Implemented core management systems
	Secured emergency funding for dump clean-up
	Renegotiated U.S. Postal Contract, securing an additional $17,500 in lease revenue over the next five years
	Renegotiated the Tribe’s BIA 638 Contract, securing an additional $300,000 in new revenue over the next five years
	Stabilized the Tribe’s NAHASDA program ($1,000,000); created subdivision and set the stage for additional housing construction
	Assisted the community with increasing its points for both State CIP funds and Federal SDS funds, resulting in $3.4 million in sanitation funds being awarded to the community
	Negotiated with the Denali Commission to secure a heavy equipment fleet spread for the community
